National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Lessons will be going ahead on Saturday, Sept 30th and Monday, Oct 2nd.
However, it's crucial and important for us to acknowledge & honour National Truth and on these dates. In recognition of this important day, we encourage all our students to wear orange as a symbol of solidarity with survivors and to remember Indigenous children were taken from their families and brought to residential schools.
Let's come together as a musical community to reflect on the past, learn from it, and ensure these injustices never happen again. Music has the power to unite us, and by wearing orange, we can show our commitment to reconciliation.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We look forward to making beautiful music with you all!
